Village rehabilitation is the process of repairing the damage done by mining activity during pre and post operation. Displacement by development projects is one of the critical interventions seriously affecting well-being of communities, revealing many and varied outcomes.
In India, no reliable numerical figures are available on the total number of displaced people (DPs, also known as Project Affected People or PAPs), especially in mining-related displacement. However, proper assessment as per RFCTLARR Act, 2013 India is being followed in India. All countries have their individual rehabilitation and resettlement program. Entire township model is done based upon different software.
